Is Creatine Safe for Women?

Hello Bill again 1st I would like to say thank you so much for helping me with the muscle pain I had on my knees. It’s gone! No more pain, thanks to you. You recommended L.A. Lifestyle’s Glucosamine and now I feel great. I’m also taking fat burner plus-- the best of the best-- thanks for that too. I’ve lost 4 lbs in 2 weeks or so. I have 2 questions for you again-- Is it true that creatine is bad for us women? I ordered the 500grams today. Also, I have a sister that is always stressed and she's being getting a lot of headaches. Is there any L.A. Lifestyle product that I can get for her? Her doctor said she’s ok but she's not taking any vitamins. Thanks a million, BILL! Finally, I found the best products on the market --and trust me I know-- I try everything.

Letty,

I’m glad I could be of help. Creatine is a very hot topic regarding its ability to enhance performance. Currently, creatine supplementation appears to be a safe practice when performed as recommended. Individuals who supplement with this powerful substance can expect to see an increase in their body weight, along with a decrease in their body fat, when combining their supplementation with physical training. I would not recommend that you take this supplement unless you are training like a hard core athletic. For your sister, she should avoid stimulants such as coffee, tea, and sugar. She should eat a well balance diet with fruit, whole grains, beans, lentils, nuts and seeds, vegetables, fish, chicken and turkey. It is important to take a good daily vitamin and mineral formula. Regular exercise such as running, walking and strength training 3 times a week for 20 to 60 minutes has been shown to have a positive effect on reducing stress. She might also try yoga.
